Are Your Sex Toys Body Safe?
Answer :

Yes.

You'd think all sex toys are safe to come into contact with our bodies, but sadly that's not the case. Some sex toys - mainly the cheaper jelly ones that are sold as 'novelty' items - have the potentially to be pretty harmful. When shopping for a sex toy that's 'body-safe' (meaning it's made from safe material, isn't made from potentially toxic chemicals, and isn't porous so it can be thoroughly cleaned without harbouring bacteria), it's wise to check the ingredients of the toy before buying.

Go for pure silicone, hard ABS plastic, glass, metal, stone, ceramic and wood. You want to stay away from toys made from jelly rubber (mostly semi-transparent and very flexible) and anything containing phthalates." These are a nasty group of chemicals that have been proven to cause all manner of health issues you definitely want to avoid.

In our product descriptions we state material as various. This is because multiple body safe ingredients / material's have been used to manufacture the product. Where available, our product descriptions list material's used.

Always start by picking a material for your adult product. The material influences how you use your intimate products and even how you care for it too. If you want something soft and flexible, get an intimate product made with silicone, TPE or TPR. Plastic and glass are good materials for intimate products if you want something firmer. Make sure your intimate products do not contain harmful chemicals and are pthalates free. Pthalates are industrial chemicals used to soften PVC plastics. This is usually problematic with cheaper products. Our intimate products are pthalates free!

More About Materials Used:

Silicone:

Silicone is smooth, non-porous and body-safe. Silicone is a non-porous material which means it won’t harbour bacteria and can be sterilized between uses. It’s also hypoallergenic meaning it won't irritate the skin. It’s a great body-safe option for sex toys.

As silicone can be sterilized, it is safe to use vaginally or anally. And you can share the toy with others so long as you sterilize it between uses.

Silicone tends to have a soft and smooth surface and will adjust quickly to the temperature of the body. Depending on the formula of the silicone, it may be very flexible, or it might be somewhat rigid. It can be soft and squishy or relatively firm. Or anywhere in between.

You can use water-based or oil-based lubricants with silicone toys.

Some silicone toys may react with silicone lubricant.

Clean your silicone sex toys with a sex toy cleaner and warm water or mild soap and warm water. Ensure that your toy has dried completely before you store it.

Store your silicone toys in a storage bag to keep them protected.

Soft PVC:

PVC is a porous material that cannot be sterilized. PVC is a porous material meaning that it can harbour bacteria and cannot be sterilized. We recommend replacing your PVC toy every 8-10 months.

As PVC is a porous material, it is not safe to share between partners unless covered with a condom. We also recommend using a condom for anal use.

PVC sex toys may also contain phthalates which can have harmful effects on the body. Phthalates are known to interfere with the body's mechanism for hormone production, known as the endocrine system, and they are linked with developmental, reproductive, brain, immune, and other problems. It is not known whether a condom will protect the body against toxins.

Always look for a phthalate-free PVC.

PVC can be relatively firm making it popular for larger sex toys. The surface may be smooth or textured as it retains its shape well.

Use a water-based lubricant with your PVC sex toys.

Clean your PVC sex toys with a sex toy cleaner and warm water or mild soap and warm water. Ensure that your toy has dried completely before you store it.

Store your PVC toys in a storage bag to keep them protected and keep them separate from other toys.

Clean your TPE sex toys with a sex toy cleaner and warm water or mild soap and warm water. Dry completely before storing.

Why Do Products Including Color Look Dissimilar On Different Computers And Devices, Screens And In Person?
Answer :

Different computer screens, operating systems, and even different web browsers have different color characteristics, so it’s just about impossible to get a given color to look exactly the same on every screen. All product images are for reference purpose only. Actual products may vary according to the physical product and unseen dimensions, as we cannot display in 3D. Material: Various = more than one material used in manufacturing.
About Product Sizes?
Answer :

Size really does matter when it comes to sex toys. Before buying any intimate product make sure to check the size. No one wants a dildo or vibrator that's too big or too small for fun. This applies to male masturbators too. Masturbators and strokers for men, many strokers are only 3 - 5″ long and may not provide full internal stroke for men with larger members. Product sizes we state are mainly the products total length, as per manufacturer specifications, “insertable length” or “usable length” is just like it sounds – it’s the area of the intimate product that can be inserted into the vagina or anus. This excludes the control surface with buttons or dials, and is often 1 - 4 inches shorter than the total length of the intimate product. Where possible we state product length size or insertable size. Size OS indicates One Size. One Product Size. One Size Fits Most. Specified Size is product size contained within the product description.
What Is A Vibrator?
Answer :

A vibrator is an intimate pleasure object used to enhance the sensation of sexual play. They can be used for both self-pleasuring (masturbation) and partner sex. The first vibrators were invented in the 1800’s to assist doctors to treat hysteria. It was the 5th household product ever to be electrified, after the toaster, sewing machine, the kettle and the fan.
How Loud Is This Vibrator?
Answer :

If you have roomies, especially those whose beds are just on the other side of the wall, volume is everything.

Although everyone masturbates, it can still feel awkward to masturbate when you know others in your apartment can hear that that's exactly what you're doing.

Whether you're after silent vibrators because your parents are in the next room or your housemates are nosy AF, there's no judgement here. We know the importance of a quiet vibrator! We are here to help, as we have some of the best silent vibrators available.

Expert sex therapists say, “Sex – whether it’s with someone or on your own, usually helps people to feel safe and connected. Using quiet sex toys might help, as some people get worried about feeling overheard or distracted".

But whether it’s quiet or letting rip, whatever makes it work for you – then do more of it.
What Is A Dildo?
Answer :

A dildo is a sexual device resembling a penis in shape, size, and overall appearance. In my mind, dildos don’t buzz. Some are phallus-shaped clearly designed with vaginal penetration in mind, and some offer an alternative shape, based on fingers. Some people use devices designed for anal penetration such as a butt plug, as a vaginal dildo. Dildos are used by people of all genders and sexual orientations, for masturbation or for partnered sexual activity.

Although most women orgasm through clitoral stimulation, many enjoy the feeling of something inside them during masturbation. Many men, of all sexual orientations, feel the same way. There are small dildos that are great for anal penetration. They can also be used by men or women with a strap-on harness or thigh harness, to enable hands-free thrusting. What should I look for when buying a dildo?

Buying a dildo involves factors such as length, thickness, hardness, safety and quality of the material it is made of and texture. On this site I only offer dildos made from 100% Medical Grade Silicone.
What Is The Difference Between A Dildo And A Dong?
Answer :

Both dildo and dong are slang terms for NON vibrating phallic sexual toys.

A dildo is a penis shaped toy that has balls, whereas dongs are shaped like penis shafts, with no base.

Dongs also can be double ended.
What Is A Butt Plug?
Answer :

A butt plug is a type of dildo that is typically tapered, often with a bulge in the centre, so that the shaft gradually thickens and flares out, before narrowing again, but the shape can vary. It is designed to provide pleasurable stimulation to the rectum. A flared base is important for safety, to avoid the toy getting lost inside. The anus has no natural lubrication, so it is important you apply lubricant for play.

In recent years, prostate massagers have become increasingly popular with men, and regular use can prevent inflammation of the prostate and promote good prostate health. They are anatomically designed for a perfect fit, they intensify and amplify orgasms, and can trigger multiple prostate orgasms.
What Is A Lubricant?
Answer :

Lubricant is usually a condom friendly liquid or gel used to enhance or replace a woman’s natural lubrication, or to lubricate any where on a person where friction occurs, especially on the penis, vagina and anus, to prevent rubbing, discomfort and damage to the skin or mucous membrane. I believe a good lubricant (or two) is an essential item for every bedroom drawer – don’t let anyone tell you that you don’t need lubricant! You should always liberally apply personal lubricant to your toys before use.

Lubricant is usually water-based or silicone, with each having their benefits.

Oil based lubricants (generally) should be avoided as they coat the inside of the vagina and rectum and can become a breeding ground for bacteria. Petroleum- based oils destroy latex upon contact, making them unsuitable for use with condoms for safer sex. I do not stock oil based or petroleum based lubricants.

Pjur silicone lubricants are the highest quality available, with PjurMED Premium offering the purist of ingredients. It is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. These products build a protective film on the skin without blocking the pores, so the skin or mucous membranes can breathe. Only a few drops are needed for silky smooth, extra long lasting lubrication. Please be aware that silicone lubricants can mark your sheets.

It is generally recommended that you use a water-based lubricant with silicone vibrators, unless specifically stated.

This can be unhelpful if you want to use your toy in the shower or bath. Some experts suggest high quality lubricants, like Pjur can be used safely with high quality silicone toys. Should you wish to do so, test first on an inconspicuous spot, e.g. near the handle. If you notice any change to the texture of your vibrator or the lube goes gummy, wipe it off immediately and use a water-based lubricant with your product (this would happen within the first few minutes of applying).

Remember it is much more fun to ‘slip, slop and slide’ than to experience drying out and soreness.

Our fresh lubricants have a date rage between: 2022 - 2006.
Is There Any Scientific Research Into Vibrator Use?
Answer :

Yes. Two Indiana University studies, published in Journal of Sexual Medicine were conducted among nationally representative samples of adult American men and women and showed that vibrator use during sexual interactions is common, with use being reported by approximately 53% of women and 45% of men ages 18 to 60. Not only is vibrator use common, but the two studies also showed that vibrator use is associated with more positive sexual function and being more proactive in caring for one’s sexual health.

Herbenick, D., Reece, M., Sanders, S.A., Dodge, B., Ghassemi, A., & Fortenberry, J.D. (2009). Prevalence and characteristics of vibrator use by women in the United States: Results from a nationally representative study. Journal of Sexual Medicine, 6, 1857-1866.

Reece, M., Herbenick, D., Sanders, S.A., Dodge, B., Ghassemi, A., & Fortenberry, J.D. (2009). Prevalence and characteristics of vibrator use by men in the United States. Journal of Sexual Medicine, 6, 1867-1874.

There is also research supporting adult toy parties that was published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy in 2012. The study suggests that there are “women who are wary about the use of sexual enhancement products who may find discussing/purchasing the products among peers to be reassuring and normalizing. In forming collaborative relationships with party facilitators, it may provide sex therapists with an opportunity to reach a previously underserved population of women, promoting messages about sexual wellness and enhancing women’s sexual experience”.

This has certainly been my experience, with facilitating toy parties myself, as I give participants educational and therapeutic information, as well as offering them a chance to play with and purchase high quality products.

Are All The Vibrators On Your Site Safe To Use?
Answer :

Yes. You will notice our sex toy products come in a range of materials that are body safe and phthalate-free.
What Are Phthalates Any Why Are They Important?
Answer :

Phthalates (pronounced THAL-ates), produced from oil, are a group of compounds that are added to plastics to make them flexible and soft.

There is evidence that some phthalates may be toxic to humans. As a product ages, the layers containing the phthalates are exposed and break down. In Australia and the European Union, certain phthalates have been banned, especially in the manufacture of children’s toys.

If you have ever had a burning sensation after using a toy, phthalates are the most likely culprit. Toys with phthalates, such as “jelly rubber” products, are usually cheaper (and nastier).

Adult toys are unregulated and manufacturers are under no obligation to disclose the amount of phthalates they use in their products.

The easiest way tell if a adult toy is made from a safe material, is through smell. Unsafe adult toys frequently have an obvious chemical or plastic smell (like new sneakers), with the odor caused by the release of chemicals into the air through off-gassing. Safe toy materials, in contrast, have no smell and do not leech chemicals into your body or the surrounding environment, (Coalition Against Toxic Toys (CATT).

Some experts recommend a condom be used with porous products and with those containing phthalates. We recommend don’t buy them in the first place. The products on our site are safe.
What Is Porosity And Why Is It Important?
Answer :

Sex Toy product materials have varying degrees of porosity, which means they are absorbent, like a sponge, and cannot be easily cleaned nor completely disinfected. Porous materials can harbor microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, which may cause infection despite even the most diligent cleaning efforts. Ideally, adult toys should be non-porous, especially with anal toys or toys that are shared.

Non-porous materials for sale on our website include high quality silicone, high-grade ABS plastics, and borosilicate glass. Be aware that even silicone has tiny pores (too small for nasty’s to penetrate) but some smells can be absorbed.

The few products made from Elastomer, TPE and Turboskin we sell are appealing because of their soft, plushy feel, but should be treated with greater care. We have indicated in the product descriptions which products may be porous and how to care for yourself if using them.
What Are Sex Toys Made Of?
Answer :

PVC / Jelly / Latex Low quality, cheap sex toys are often made from PVC, often referred to as jelly, rubber or latex. These materials are very porous, making them a hub for bacteria, and they usually contain phthalates. These toys can melt, become greasy and deteriorate over time, and they have a strong unpleasant smell. If using a PVC toy or latex toy, always cover it with a condom, and they are not safe for sharing. You must avoid PVC or latex toys if you have a latex allergy. Non-Latex condoms are also available on our site.

Skin-like products (CyberSkin, Ultraskin, Eroskin, Softskin, Futurotic) are made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) (see below). Some skin-like products, e.g. Cyberskin are phthalate, latex and PVC free. These products are quite porous, so can hide bacteria, making them unsuitable to share. Proper cleaning and drying is important. They can sometimes sweat, so to keep your toy fresh, store it in an airtight container and coat with cornflour (do not use talcum powder). Use only water-based lubricants.

Turboskin is made of phthalate free TPE (See below). Turboskin is slightly porous, making it unsuitable to share, and it is recommended you clean your Turboskin product immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry it carefully and store in a cool, dry place, separately from other toys. You may use an anti-bacterial toy cleaner if desired. To restore softness to Turboskin, sprinkle with the included powder when dry, or coat with cornflour (do not use talcum powder) and store in an airtight container. Both water and silicone based lubricants can be used.

Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) or Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a non-toxic, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic polymer blend. Thermoplastics are slightly porous, making them unsuitable to share without a condom, as they may hide bacteria after cleaning. It is recommended you clean them immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry them carefully and store in a cool, dry place. Store them separately from other toys. Discard and replace if a TPR / TPE toy splits or perishes, or becomes greasy or discolored. Water-based lubricants are usually recommended.

Elastomer is phthalate-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic and free of chemical solvents. Elastomer toys are high quality, soft and plushy. They are slightly porous, so it is recommended you clean them immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry them carefully and store in a cool, dry place. Store them separately from other toys. Discard and replace if your elastomer toy splits or perishes, or becomes greasy or discolored. You can use water-based or silicone lubricants with elastomer toys.

ABS, polycarbonate and non-plasticized PVC (non-plasticized PVC) toys are phthalate-free, hypoallergenic and non-porous. They are easy to clean, are often cheaper and offer strong vibrations. Because of their hardness, they are generally unsuitable for penetration.

Steel / Chrome toys are made from chrome alloys and stainless steel and are non-porous, durable and warm to the body. Quality steel toys, like glass toys, can be beautiful works of art.

Borosilicate glass toys are made from clear medical grade borosilicate, as used in Pyrex. It is lead-free, non-porous and hypoallergenic with excellent structural integrity, and can withstand heat and cold, as well as extreme pressure (around 1,000 kg). Glass warms to the body. Clean with soap and warm water, an antibacterial toy cleaner if desired, or boil them. Glass can be used with any type of lubricant.

Silicone (medical grade or 100%) is considered to be the best and safest material for adult toys. It is virtuously non-porous (bacteria can’t penetrate but some smells may), it is hypoallergenic, phthalate free and it warms to the body. Due to its non-porosity, silicone toys can be shared after cleaning. Silicone toys have no smell, tend to be firmer than other materials (depending on the finish) and are more expensive, but a quality silicone product will last for years. Clean with soap and warm water, an antibacterial toy cleaner if desired or boil them, as they can withstand high temperature. Dildos are bleachable and dishwasher safe, but with vibrators, be sure the entire toy including the controls are waterproof before cleaning them this way.

Note: Be aware that not all silicone products are created equal. The best quality products are 100% or medical grade or platinum silicone, while other products have a silicone coating over ABS plastic. Beware of products that are a silicone blend, as they are often mixed with soft PVC.

It is generally recommended that you use a water-based lubricant with silicone vibrators, unless specifically stated. This can be unhelpful if you want to use your toy in the shower or bath.

Our site recommends high quality Pjur silicone lubricants, which some experts suggest can be used with high quality silicone toys. Should you wish to do so, test first on an inconspicuous spot, e.g. near the handle. If the lube goes gummy in the first few minutes, wipe it off and clean it immediately.

Generally, you get what you pay for. High quality toys have a higher price tag, with medical products even higher again, but this reflects that better materials have been used and that the level of quality control and accountability is greater. Think of prioritizing safety as an investment in your health, and good products also last much longer if you look after them.
How Do I Care For My Vibrator?
Answer :

Follow manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning and care of your toy.

To clean your vibrator, use hot water and soap before initial use, and before and after you use them. Make sure you do not get water in the battery compartment or in the opening for rechargeable(s). You can also use an anti-bacterial toy cleaner if you desire. Pat your toy dry, then allow to air dry.

For more specific information on cleaning adult toys, check out our Intimate Product Cleaning Guide found in Help & Information.

For comfort and ease when using your toy, please ensure that you use lubricant, which can be found on our site.

Silicone and water based lubricants are fine used with elastomers – remember oil is oil and is primarily for massage – so do not smother your vibrator in oil or use oil based products as it will degrade the elastomer.

Our site also carries a good range of Adult Toy Cleaner.
What Types Of Vibrators Are There?
Answer :

The short answer is lots! Choosing a adult toy is a very personal thing, and what might appeal to one person will be a complete turn-off to another.

To make it easier, we have divided our products into categories:

External Vibrators / Massagers – that are great for using on the clitoris, penis or other parts of the body.

Insertable Vibrators / Dildos – for use vaginally, and in some cases, anally.

Multipurpose Vibrators – that are great for both clitoral or penis stimulation and insertion. Some of these can stimulate two places at once and are sometimes called Dual Vibes. There is even an oral vibrator that can be great fun for both sexes.

Anal Play – some vibrators can be used anally – anal play, for both women and men can be extremely pleasurable.

Toys for Boys – Some Cock Rings have a vibrator attached to them, which can pleasure both partners. There is a delicious selection of male pleasure products for all occasions on our site.

Women’s Pelvic Floor – We have a selection that offers a vibrating option with remote control; perfect for both pelvic floor work and play. Other pelvic floor massagers work well but are non-vibrating.

Some people want discretion when it comes to having a toy in the house, for others, a rechargeable option is very important. Everyone wants an increase in pleasure, and we hope to provide that with the products we offer.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is unrealistic to think that the purchase of a product will solve all your sexual problems, but if it does, that is fantastic.

If you are facing sexual issues, a qualified and experienced sex therapist maybe able to assist, if there are issues you are having difficulty overcoming.
I Have Not Had A Vibrator Before, What Do You Suggest?
Answer :

There is plenty of choice on our website, and it depends on a number of questions:

For Women:

What areas feel pleasurable when you stimulate them? Your vulva generally, clitoris, or does it feel good when something is inserted in your vagina? Some people also find G-Spot pressure or anal stimulation pleasurable. Do you want something that also doubles as a body massager? Some Wands have a G-Spot Attachment that fits both the Wand and the Rechargeable Bodywand Massager, giving you lots of different options for pleasure.

If you are unsure, take some time to explore your body and genitals, either in private or with your partner (bearing in mind that this is for you!). Before you start, take a few deep breaths and then concentrate on your breathing for a minute or so, which will help clear your mind and bring your focus into your body. Start slowly and gently, and let your body sensations be your guide.

If involving your partner (which is great, as it means you talk more openly about pleasure and sex) don’t let yourself be swayed by what they think might be great for you if it doesn’t appeal. Don’t be scared to slow them down.

For Men:

Vibrators have exactly the same effect on a man’s blood vessels as a woman’s – they make them dilate, bringing increased blood flow and usually increased physical arousal.

A vibrator may improve your control over ejaculation if used intermittently over time on the more sensitive parts of your penis, or can help you to reach ejaculation more quickly when used to enhance your pleasure and focus. Try the Finger Massager or Power Bullet.

Stimulation of the nipples, penis, testicles and scrotum, perineum, anus and rectum, as well as the rest of the body, can all bring about pleasurable sensations.

The male G-Spot or prostate is located on the front wall of the rectum and can also be stimulated directly or via pressure to the perineum. This is good for your prostate health. If this sounds appealing, Prostate Massagers are products you should consider.

What kind of vibration you want?

Some people are very sensitive to vibration and a non-vibrating dildo might be a better option. Many vibrators offer a range of speeds and rhythms. Take your time with a new product to explore each delicious rhythm, one by one. Some vibrators allow you to turn up or turn down the strength of the vibration in each pattern. Some people like a stronger, deeper vibration; the We-Vibe Tango might be a good choice.

What shape is attractive to you?

Vibrators often bring an instant reaction from people, especially if they are unappealing. Some people want an exact replica of a penis, others want the shape without the detail and still others want something that looks completely different.

What kind of feel do you like?

There is huge variety in the feel of adult toys. Silicone can feel soft and plushy while still being firm. Elastomer tends to be much softer and stretcher. While we have tried to be as descriptive as possible in our product descriptions, the touch and feel is sometimes difficult to describe. If touch is ultra important to you, start with adult toy kits.

Is discretion important?

Some of our vibrators are very stealthy – children or adults wouldn’t know if they came across them.

What size do you prefer?

Historically some customers have chosen vibrators that are on the smaller end of the scale, as they are often dealing with sexual pain issues, and / or have not used a vibrator before. Many customers who have walked into an adult store, become overwhelmed by the choice in front of them and their partner has said: “Choose the biggest one!” which hasn’t been that helpful, and in fact, often scares them.

Size does matter, with many people looking for an insertable vibrator or dildo happy with a moderately sized or smaller option, but if you are a “size queen” we have products to please you. Research shows that for many women, girth is more important than length.

Product descriptions give total length, insertable length and circumference, so you can choose a size you are comfortable with. If you are unsure, I suggest you start with something on the smaller end of the scale and purchase a bigger toy once you have worked out what you like. We are a big fan of having a range of options.

Do you care how the product is powered?

There are many rechargeable options available on our site, while other toys take AA, AAA, AAAA or LR44 watch batteries. Reasonably priced AA and AAA batteries can also be purchased on our site.

It is recommended you recharge your vibrator at least every 6 weeks, as they don’t hold their charge as well if they go completely flat. Please check out our Rechargeable Category.

How easy is it to adjust the controller?

Most vibrators on our site are easily adjustable during use, and some come with a remote control. If you have limited dexterity in your hands, we have included some good options on our site, and have also noted these in the product descriptions.

How much do you want to spend?

Although quality pleasure objects are more expensive than their cheap and nasty counterparts, we try to offer a range of alternatives for customers to try. Some people, if they have never used one before, might prefer to go for a less expensive option to determine whether they actually like the feel of a vibrator. Try a Power Bullet.

Do persevere and spend a number of sessions pleasuring yourself or using them with a partner before you decide if you actually like them or not.

How Do I Learn To Use A Sex Toy?
Answer :

Privacy is essential when learning about your own body, so even if you’ve never self-pleasured before, make the space for yourself and have a play on your own. Concentrate on your breathing first, which will help clear your mind and bring your focus into your body. Let your body sensations be your guide.

Most vibrators are adjustable, and I suggest you begin with the lowest speed and work up. Women’s arousal is usually much slower than men’s, so take your time; don’t give up too early. If you find the vibration too strong and need to reduce the intensity, place a towel between the head of the vibrator and your body. Ongoing pressure with a vibrator will generally lead to an orgasm in (10) – (60) minutes. Remember to concentrate on your breathing throughout and think sexy thoughts or just focus on the delicious sensations.
My Vibrator Will Not Work?
Answer :

The most common reason for customers to return adult toys is that they believe their toy to be faulty. Majority of the adult toys are not faulty but just need to have the batteries put in the correct way, batteries replaced or they have not been unlocked or charged properly.

We always ask that you read the important information leaflet accompanying the toy, and message us before returning your product as we can often resolve the problem over email.

The most common reasons why your adult toy is not working:

The batteries have been put in the wrong way:

This is the number one reason why products are returned so it is important to ensure the batteries have been inserted correctly. Many of our battery operated products have small plus and minus symbols on the battery compartment to show you which way to insert the batteries. The majority of products that take 2 batteries require the batteries to go in the opposite direction to each other, one facing up, one facing down, not in the same direction.

It doesn’t work after changing the batteries:

Always check that you have inserted the batteries correctly. As mentioned above, many products have plus and minus symbols on the battery compartment to show you which way to insert the batteries. It is recommended that you use powerful batteries from well known brands, cheap batteries will not give you the power or last as long. Nothing worse than the power running down at that crucial moment.

Mixing old and new batteries isn’t a good idea, always use fresh batteries. We also recommend removing the batteries when not in use or when travelling.

The paper battery isolator disc has not been removed:

Many battery operated products including almost all Rocks Off products are supplied with batteries already fitted, however you need to open the battery compartment and remove the paper/plastic isolator disc/tag for the product to operate. Occasionally the disc gets stuck in the cap so please check.

The on/off switch hasn’t been pressed for long enough/pressed for too long:

Often people hold the control button down for too long or not long enough. Read the instruction information provided with your product. Some require a quick press, others need to be held down for several seconds. If you are unable to turn your product on, please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.

We always recommend that you familiarize yourself with the controls before use, especially if your product has several buttons.

You have not charged it for long enough:

Many rechargeable products require a full charge before you use the. The instruction information provided with each product will advise you how long to charge your adult toy for, the length of time varies between each product and manufacturer. Charging times can vary between manufacturers from 2-8 hours.

It has not charged:

It is very important that the charger is fully connected to the toy and the power source. Magnetic chargers must be firmly attached to the vibe and pin charges must be fully inserted. If the charger is not inserted fully or connected properly, it will not charge fully. Some of our products have a magnetic charger which can become disconnected during charging or may get knocked off so it is important to check that your product is still charging from time to time.

If using a pc or laptop to charge your product, the source needs to be switched on (not in standby mode).

Also check the USB charger you are using as this can be the reason why your product is not charging rather than a faulty product or charging cable.

The majority of our rechargeable adult toys will flash intermittently whilst charging. Once fully charged the light will stay on.

The travel lock has been activated:

Some of our adult toys come with a travel lock so they cannot accidently start in your luggage or bag. Instructions are provided with all our products but if you have a problem, please contact us and we will guide you through the unlocking process. Also read the important information leaflet too.

Faulty Products:

We are a reputable retailer and we will happily replace any faulty products within their warranty while observing Hygiene & Health Regulations in regards to our intimate products as outlined in our Refund Policy.

Please ensure you have carefully read the instructions supplied with your adult products, before reporting it as faulty.

Whilst we only supply products from reputable manufacturers, we do occasionally encounter faulty items.

It is, however, important that you contact us prior to returning a faulty products, as we can often fix problems over email.

If you return any item without contacting us first and it is subsequently found not be be faulty, we may ask you to pay for the return postage. We also do not process change of mind refunds, once an item leaves our warehouse.
How Do I Choose A Penis Pump?
Answer :

Penis pumps can be a lot of fun. Penis pumps do exactly what you think they do, they pump penises. The penis toy surround the penis in a cylinder and allow you to pump out the air, developing a vacuum. This engorges the penis, resulting in increased-sensitivity and temporary penis enlargement. They were originally created to help people suffering from erectile dysfunction and as an alternative to Viagra.

Although they’re also often called penis enlargers, there isn’t much evidence of them permanently increasing erection size. Sorry! But this doesn’t stop them from being a staple in adult shops.

Who Can Use A Penis Pump?

Regardless of your gender identity or sexual orientation, if you have a penis - or your partner does - you can pump it! We love a judgement-free adult toy. Penis pumps are most commonly used during solo play and masturbation, but they are a fun couples adult toy to bring into your partnered playtime and often used in dominant and submissive BDSM role play.

Why Do People Use Penis Pumps?

There are a few reasons that people use penis pumps. The first being simply to give the user a swollen erection, which is maintained after pumping by putting on a cock ring (which helps to hold the blood and pressure in). They’re a fun and quick way to boost performance confidence, sensitivity, and makes things feel a bit bigger.

"There is also a kinky-fetish-play feel about them"

As a adult toy, they’re often used for the visual of the penis growing. Adult performer James Bennett says, “I feel there is also a kinky-fetish-play feel about them because when your dick is in it you really want to touch it, but it’s in the chamber so it’s impossible.”

But the most popular reason people use them is for penis enlargement. There are arguments for and against using penis pumps for permanent results but the best results are often credited to water-operated ‘hydro pumps’.

How To Use A Penis Pump?

1. Lubricant!

Begin by applying a thin layer of water-based lubricant over the base of the penis to prevent irritation. It also helps to remove excess pubic hair. Place the cylinder over the penis (you don’t need to be erect). If the cylinder has a pump sleeve, slide this over the shaft.

2. Pump!

There are many different ways to operate pumps; hand-pumps, trigger-action pumps and also battery-powered are all options. They all do the same thing, so just simply squeeze, pull or press the button.

3. Take it slow!

You’ll reach maximum capacity between 30 seconds to three minutes. For the best and most comfy results, build up the pressure slowly while feeling it out. Listen to your body and if it begins to feel uncomfortable – stop immediately.

4. Release!

Press the release valve to stop suction and remove the tube. To maintain the developed size, put a cock ring on.

Do Penis Pumps Actually Work?

The results really depend on what you’re expecting, so you have to be realistic. If you’re looking for help getting erections – then yes, they work, and fast. If you’re looking to increase sensitivity and enjoy the visual of it growing then you’re definitely going to be satisfied.

However, a penis pump is not going to give you a bigger erection, contrary to popular belief! There are varied reviews out there but there’s no evidence to back up these claims. Adult toy influencer Dick Baker claims, “I also noticed once I'd been pumping for a month or so that flaccid my penis had increased in length and girth by a small amount.” But if this was widely true, I think most of the penis-owning population would be permanently connected to one.

Some device that takes things to the next level, with an electric motor and state of the art manufacture, but it is a bigger investment. This investment is thoroughly recommended if you have a physical reason for erection problems and are planning to use this treatment long term, and there are tens of thousands of men who use this option. Compared to the ongoing cost of oral medications for erections, this is a one off purchase that will last for years.

I Can’t See Any Instructions About The Care Of The Battery That Is Rechargeable?
Answer :
